This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As a part of our growing quality team, this role will partner with our calibration engineers to ensure the measurement & test equipment used to build space vehicles and rocket engines are calibrated and cycled on schedule.
- Manage the On-Site calibration schedule for both vendors and team technicians
- Manage procurement and logistics for vendor calibrations.
- Maintain physical and digital organization of work to ensure efficiency in the calibration lab workflow.
- Make database updates to incoming assets.
- Interface with internal customers on status requests.
- Interface with calibration vendors on status and tracking updates.
- Assist manufacturing team with device recall & notification.
- 2+ years in a scheduling, logistics or procurement role.
- 2 years using data organization tools (spreadsheets, databases, ect) to maintain, organize & track technical information.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder).
- Physical ability
- Lift 20lbs
- Walk up 2 flights of stairs
- Push cart with 100lbs of load
- Experience is a large organization setting
- Experience with industry calibration standards (ANSI NCSL Z540.3, ISO/IEC 17025)
- Experience in customer service.
