This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Interviews will include a technical assessment
- Multiple positions available
- Capability to operate and setup complex jobs on a 5-axis CNC machine
- Proven strong mechanical aptitude.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings for specific equipment
- Operate or support crane lifts, scissor and boom lifts and forklifts.
- Adheres to equipment requirements and the method and sequences of operation to be followed in the fabrication of parts using materials such as epoxy prepregs, adhesives, cores, machined fittings, and consumable materials.Understands, follows, and completes work instructions, and contributes to safety, quality, process, and work instruction continuous improvement.
- Utilize manual, electric & pneumatic tools to fabricate and/or maintain composite structures, molds, handling fixtures, and tooling.

- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field.
- Trimming/drilling/routing/machining, robotics, bonding, and production control systems.
- Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with the team in a dynamic environment displaying a strong work ethic with close attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
- Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skillset
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small restricted areas.
- Perform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items, >50lbs
- NX programming experience
- Design part fixtures using modeling
- Part and tool inventory
- A Strong desire to understand, and continuously improve production processes
- Understanding of equipment maintenance and diagnostic principles and failure root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
- 5S and Lean Experience beneficial.
- Thermal Protection Systems experience
- Rigging and Crane operator certification
- Proven success as a “hands-on” technical leader
- Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field
- Perform regular inspections and level/alignment checks on large CNC machines and tooling such as lathes, milling machines and other equipment.
- Repair and replace defective parts as needed.
- Create detailed reports/records of maintenance and repairs.
