Flight Systems Manager

This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design.- Relocation provided
- Travel expected up to 15% of the time
- Interviews will include a technical assessment
- Lead and mentor a team of GNC and Avionics engineers.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of flight systems, from preliminary design to flight operations.
- Manage flight system development schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure milestones are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including structures, propulsion, and software, to ensure system integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) and/or Avionics systems.
- Ability to manage 6+ direct reports
- Current Clearance TS/SCI or ability to hold TS/SCI
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Direct experience withreentry and/or hypersonicvehicle systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex aerospace projects.
Compensation Range for:
