We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and critical-thinking Finance Business Partner to serve as a senior financial analyst within Blue Origin's Engines business unit. This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance and operational execution, making it central to how we build and fly rockets affordably and reliably. In this key role, you will collaborate directly with program leadership while partnering with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and material planning to drive financial excellence and program success.
Day to day, you will deliver comprehensive cost analysis, variance explanations, and strategic guidance to Engines program leadership, developing financial models and scenario analyses that inform critical program decisions across the full cost structure. A strong understanding of how operational activity translates into financial outcomes is essential, serving as the lens through which you'll connect material demand, procurement timing, workforce planning, and production activity to program financials. You will establish and maintain metrics that track program financial health throughout the full program lifecycle, while building tools and reporting capabilities that enable proactive, forward-looking financial management. You'll also leverage cutting-edge AI and analytics tools to design innovative approaches to financial modeling and forecasting that are as ambitious as the rockets we build.
To thrive in this role, you will bring strong financial acumen and demonstrated experience, paired with a broad understanding of cost drivers spanning direct materials, procurement strategies, subcontracts, labor, and supply chain trade-offs and the analytical rigor to build insight-driven analyses that influence real decisions. Above all, we are looking for a skilled storyteller who can translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for both financial and non-financial audiences, someone who navigates ambiguity with confidence in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
