This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Aspart ofthe New Glenn SEITSystem Engineering Center (SEC), you will manage a small teamthatprovides guidance and process control to the New Glenn program.Scope of the SEIT-SEC is todevelopprocesses and products for the design ofthe New Glennorbital launch vehiclessystemand facilities. You must have a passion for mission assurance, a commitment to the fundamentals of system safety,system engineering, tools developmentforsystem engineering needs;and a strong capacity to work collaboratively on complex and interesting new problemsacross the entire New Glenn Program

§ 02QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Minimum of a B.S.degree in aerospace engineering or related field

  • 10+years engineering experience in the aerospaceor engineeringindustry

  • 3+management experience in a large development program at the system/program level

  • Experience with large development programs culture and risk posture

  • Enjoysa highly dynamic and fast paced environment

  • Experienced with process development for system engineering,system safety, and related tools processes such as IBM JAZZ,ISOGraph, andWindchilltools.

  • Experienced with rapidly streamlining implementation processes for a development environment

  • Experience in at least one of the areas of analysis, design, or integrated testing

  • Possess skills in strategic system thinking, excellent written and oral communication skills, proactive in moving program forward through team collaborations to achieve timely decisions, ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a collaborative.

  • Experience with mentoring and coachingengineersonsystem engineering practicesand system safety practices

  • Experienced in workingcross discipline teams and including analysis, design,configuration,and certification teams.

  • Experienced withworking with external regulatory government entities like the FAA and Space Force Range

  • Experience with development and reporting ofmetrics.

  • Participate in actively maintaining a healthy system engineering and working culture

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs

  • Have fundamentalskillsofmanagement ofsystem engineering and engineering data.

§ 03APPLICANTMUST BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN

Desired

  • Process ownership and maintenance experience

  • Experience with configuration management in aerospace or other complex engineering environments

  • Knowledge of requirements management and traceability tools and methodologies

  • Experience with database management and data governance

  • Certification in configuration management (e.g., CMII)

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools

  • Background in implementing and maintaining enterprise software solutions

  • Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools, particularly JAZZ platform applications

  • Experience withEIA-649C and implementing the principlesof configuration management
