  • Perform inspections, audits, and engineering evaluations of facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify issues and recommend corrective/preventive measures
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, or process issues using root-cause analysis techniques; develop and track engineering-based corrective actions
  • Support development of contingency/emergency plans and operational procedures
  • Provide engineering guidance to internal customers on design-for-safety, process improvements, and compliance with applicable standards
  • Monitor and analyze operational data (e.g., exposures, discharges, or process parameters) and recommend engineering solutions
  • Maintain documentation, records, and reports as required for operational and regulatory needs

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (OSHA, NFPA, EPA, or equivalent) and ability to interpret/apply them in an engineering context
  • Experience with storm water, waste management, permitting, or similar operational compliance
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering tools (e.g., CAD, analysis software)
