This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As a Structures Technician at Blue Origin, you willbe responsible forstructural fabrication, drilling, assembly, surface preparation, fixturing components, and alignment of structural partsin support of aerospace vehicle production and refurbishment. Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed instructions, you will build,modify, and assemble large, tight-tolerance structures for both flight and non-flight hardware. Yourexpertiseand attention to detail will ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, and mission readiness for everycomponentyou touch.
Shifts: A | Mon-Fri (6am-2:30pm), B | Mon-Fri (2pm-10:30pm), C | Fri-Sun (6am-6:30pm), D | Fri-Sun (6pm - 6:30am)

Fabricate, assemble, and align structural aerospace components according to engineering instructions and specifications.
Drill precision holes using power feed, track, and hand drills;maintainstrict quality tolerances and proper angularity across aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and composite materials.
Prepare and treat surfaces for assembly and finishing, including cleaning, part marking, and application of sealants, adhesives, paints, and primers.
Fixture and secure components using jigs and specialized tooling to ensureaccuratealignment during assembly.
Operate calibrated tools and measurement devices—such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers—tomaintainquality and safety standards.
Inspect assemblies,identifydiscrepancies, and execute repairs or modifications asrequired.
Proactively support continuous improvement initiatives andmaintaina safe, organized work areain accordance with5S principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams tooptimizemanufacturing processes and resolve technical challenges.
Manage handling and integration of both flight and non-flight hardware throughout the production lifecycle.
Document work performed andcommunicatepromptly with engineering and quality teams.
The Structures assembly team at Blue Origin plays a pivotal role in advancing the efficiency and reliability of aerospace components throughcutting-edgeassembly methods. Experience Levels with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field. (0-3 years Level I Technician, 3+ Level II Technician, 5+ Level III Technician, 8+ SR Level Technician)
Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience with precision calibration and measurement tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
Ability to lift 50lbsand work at heights (stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, fasteners, and general cleanliness/5S principles.
Basic computerproficiency(Windows, Microsoft Office Suite).
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Skilled in use of hand drills, power feed drills, track drills, Jiffy/E-Tech tools, and drilling jigs/bomb sites for hand placement of holes.
Understanding of drill speeds, feeds, hole tolerances, and angularity for various aerospace materials.
Demonstrated experience in surface preparation (clean as you go), part marking, and finishing techniques.
Experience in sealing, bonding, painting, and priming for aerospace applications.
Ability to manage and assemble both flight and non-flight hardware.
Skilled in handling large aerospace components and assembling tight-tolerance structures.
Trade school training, industry certifications, or a relevant technical degree.
Record of success as a hands-on doer or technical leader.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving responsibilities.
Mentality for continuous improvement and process optimization.
Experience supporting new product introduction or prototype builds.
