Test Technician
This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise in testing complex aerospace hardware while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Use tools, measurement and test equipment to build and verify products (e.g., soldering irons, crimpers, torque wrenches, calipers, meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc…). Focus of role will largely be on maintenance & support of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), Test Equipment (e.g., thermal chambers, vibration table) and flight product testing.
- Manage tools, hardware and test activities on the production floor to create a safe and organized environment for product actualization.
- Document production/test processes and assist with development/optimization of build and test procedures, production standards, and product designs.
- Contribute to culture centered around test process rigor and skills development
- Troubleshoot issues identified in product build/test and supply and/or execute recommendations for resolution
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to interpret & work from engineering drawings & 3D models.
- Solid computer skills and familiarity with controlled designs and processes.
- Coding/Programming experience of some type is required, Python is preferred.
- Previous experience with Vibration, Thermal Vacuum (TVAC), and/or EMC/EMI testing.
- Meticulously detail orientated with pride in ownership of work performed.
- RF products/tools/test experience
- Experience test standards (GEVS, CEQATR, Mil-Std-1540, CETS/CTP)
- Certified forklift and/or crane operator
